Love's First Home Visit

Love went on her first home visit today, and Liz and Lou said she did very well. The family fell in love with another dog, however, so Love is back with us. On the home visit, she was around several kids, and they loved her, so she would probably do well in a home with kids.

After the home visit, we spent some time on this beautiful day at the 100 Oaks M&G. As usual, Love enjoyed the attention and being around the other people and hounds. She is currently engaging in one of her favorite pastimes (napping) after a very busy day.

Congrats to Kaizen on finding his forever home today - we're sure Love will find hers soon. Could it be yours? ;)

Update on Love

Her personality is coming out a little more each day - she loves to play with stuffies but still needs to be reminded at times that certain things (like bath sponges) are not stuffies. She also seems to enjoy unrolling toilet paper.

She is a sweet girl who loves attention and running in the yard with Christina & Ragtime, her foster sister & brother. She did very well at the 100 Oaks M&G yesterday and seemed to get a lot of people interested in her.

She will be a great addition to someone's home!

Love's First Meet & Greets

Love was out meeting and greeting this past weekend - we were at 100 Oaks Saturday and Nashville West on Sunday. She did great and seemed to enjoy being around the other greys. She also didn't show much interest in smaller dogs going by, so she definitely doesn't seem to be a high-prey girl.

Happy Valentine's Day to Love, and here's hoping she finds her forever home soon.

Welcome, Love!

Love is settling in nicely, and her name is very appropriate - she's a real sweetheart! She loves to be around us and gets along well with the 2 resident greys. She enjoys running in the yard, and her appetite is great.

She was a little restless her first night but is now relaxed through the night. She is learning the ropes of retirement nicely and her personality is starting to come out. She's very affectionate and enjoys her rawhide chews.

She would be a great addition to someone's home - about about a little Love for Valentine's Day? :)
